Templates link has been updated on the Admin page

The Template Details page has been updated so that the “Templates” link in the top right corner will return the user to the proper Templates page (user vs admin), depending on where the user came from.

Deleting multiple envelopes from Admin > Envelope Type Details page didn't properly refresh the UI

An issue has been resolved where the UI would not be properly refreshed when deleting multiple envelopes from the Admin > Envelope Type Details page.

Checkmark Anchor Updates

In the signing interface, checkmark anchors display a small checkmark icon which can confuse signers since it may appear that the checkmark was already applied. This has been updated so that checkmark anchors no longer include the checkmark icon.

Anchors disappearing in designer

An issue has been resolved where under certain circumstances, anchors would disappear from the designer interface when adding a new step.

Anchors not placing properly under certain circumstances

When designing an envelope with a very slow internet connection, or using a PDF with large embedded images it may take some time for the pages to render in TrueSign. If this occurs, there is a chance that anchors would not be added to the document when dragging and dropping. This has been resolved.

Remove Permissions have been added to the Template creation API endpoint

The /v1/Template/[id]/NewEnvelope endpoint has been updated to allow for remove permissions to be provided for signers.

Account information changes not saving

An issue has been resolved where changes to a TrueSign account (address information, accent color, logo, etc) may not save.

Corrected issue with transparent borders on annotations

An issue has been resolved where annotations with transparent borders may display with a black border in completed documents.

Corrected issue with text markups on rotated pages

An issue has been resolved where text markups may not render correctly in completed documents when placed on pages that had been previously rotated.

Improved Error Messages During Upload

Improved the UI experience if a document fails to upload or fails to convert while creating an envelope.

Updated TIFF to PDF Conversion Processing

Updated the logic when converting TIFF documents to PDF during upload to support more variations of TIFF images.

Corrected issue when changing the number of required signers when anchors already exist

An issue has been resolved where changing the number of required signers after anchors had already been created caused those anchors to dissapear.

Several 3rd party dependencies have been updated to their current versions.

Envelope Lock Enhancements

Envelope locks have been updated to prevent a user from accessing an envelope if they are unable to access the lock hub.

Sender now included on "Envelopes to Sign" and "Proxy Envelopes" tabs

The tables on the “Envelopes to Sign” and “Proxy Envelopes” tabs now include the sender as a column.

New 'Text Auto Fit' Viewer Setting

A new ‘Text Auto Fit’ setting has been added to the user Viewer Settings (accessible from More > Viewer Settings while signing).When ‘Text Auto Fit’ is enabled (which is the default), then any text markups that are added to the document will be auto-sized to fit the text that was added. When enabled, the text markup will wrap on individual letters. When disabled, text markups will not auto-resize so you will need to manually resize the annotation as needed. Also, when disabled, the text markup will wrap based on word instead of individual letters.

The Web Hook delivery method for Envelope Types has been enhanced

New options have been added to the Web Hook delivery method on Envelope Types. When adding or editing a web hook, you can now specify an Authentication Type. The options include:

• Basic Authentication
• Bearer Authentication
• Hyland Automate Authentication

Depending on the selected Authentication Type, you will be prompted to enter the appropriate details.

Added validation to API when setting DPI

The /v1/Envelope/[id]/Files (POST) API Endpoint has been updated to validate that the provided DPI is supported.

Designer Inactivity Updates

If no user activity occurs in the TrueSign Designer interface for more than 15 minutes, TrueSign would previously discard any changes and redirect the user to the homepage. This scenario has been updated to be more user friendly.

Updates to Signer and Designer Settings

The Viewer Settings and Designer Settings (which are available from the More menu when signing or designing envelopes) have been updated so that they are now stored within the TrueSign database instead of local browser storage. This allows the settings to persist even when a signer/designer uses a different workstation, device or browser. Since these settings are now stored within the database, TrueSign Administrators can manage them from the Admin > Users page, by using the new “Bulk Edit Users” option. This allows an administrator to initially set or update the viewer settings for users.

Accessibility Updates

TrueSign has been updated to support WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility criteria.

Word to PDF Conversion Updates

The toolkit used to convert Word documents to PDF has been updated to better support the formatting of the original word documents. This conversion occurs when users upload Word documents directly in the TrueSign website.

Stamps can now be managed from the User Details page (Admin)

Administrators can now manage stamps for a specific user directly from the User Details page within the Admin portion of TrueSign. Previously, stamp permissions could only be set from the Stamps page.

PDF Viewer Upgrade

The PDF Viewer has been upgraded to the latest release.

Embedded Signing Interface

The TrueSign signer page can now be embedded in an iFrame within another web application. This is useful if you would like the TrueSign signing interface to look like it is part of your existing web app.Please see the TrueSign Admin documentation for more details.

TrueSign now supports Parallel Signing

The TrueSign Designer and API have been updated to support various signing flows through the use of Steps. The New Signer and Edit Signer options in the designer have been replaced with the new Manage Signers screen. This screen allows multiple steps to be added to a signer flow, as well as multiple signers to be added to an individual step in the flow. If two signers are in the same step, then TrueSign will send the envelope to both of those signers simultaneously. The number of signers required to complete the step can also be configured. For example, if there are two signers in a step and the number of signers required to complete the step is set to 2, then both signers must complete the envelope before it moves to the next configured step.There is no limit to the number of signers in each step, and no limit to the number of steps that can be added.A new API endpoint has been added that allows a step to be created on an envelope:/v1/Envelope/[id]/CreateGroup Additionally, the AddInternalSigner and AddExternalSigner endpoints have been updated to support a GroupId, which allows signers added using those endpoints to be added to the same step.

Several improvements have been made to the Topaz signature capture process

Several improvements have been made to the way that TrueSign handles Topaz Signature pads.

• Under certain circumstances, the detection of the Topaz Signature Pad could cause certain pages in TrueSign to take a long time to load. This has been addressed.
• The Topaz libraries have been updated to the latest version.
• The size of the canvas on the Signature Pad tab has been increased.
• An issue has been corrected where the Clear and Save buttons in the Signature Pad tab would display multiple times under certain conditions.

Corrected an issue where Dates would not display in the envelope properties side panel if added during signing

When Dates were manually added to a document during signing, those dates would display correctly on the document. However, they would not display in the envelope properties side panel. This has been corrected.

New option available in 'My Profile' for Proxy Signer notifications

A new notification option is available in Profile settings called “Notify me when someone completes an envelope on my behalf”. If you enable this option, then you will receive an email notification if a proxy signer completes an envelope that was sent to you.

Corrected an issue where text added to a Title anchor would not display in the completed document under certain circumstances

If a Title anchor was added to a document and that anchor was resized vertically to be very small, when the anchor was applied, it would appear correctly while signing, but would not display on the completed document. This has been resolved.

Corrected issue where certain characters in signer's name would not display correctly

If certain characters (such as apostrophes) existed in a signer’s name, those characters would not display correctly in certain locations within TrueSign. This has been resolved.

Redirect option now available when an external signer declines consent

When an external signer declines the Consent dialog before opening an envelope, if that user declines the consent dialog, they are taken to the TrueSign webpage. This logic has been updated so that if the “Redirect_On_Reject” envelope option has been provided using the TrueSign API, then the user will be taken the provided URL instead of the TrueSign webpage.

Updates to handling of overlapped annotations

If a PDF that was uploaded into TrueSign contained existing annotations and those annotations overlapped with anchors/signatures/stamps/etc, then the TrueSign anchors/annotations could not be clicked properly under certain circumstances. This has been addressed.

Under certain circumstances, TrueSign would not convert completed documents to Tiff

If the “Deliver_As_Tiff” flag was set to true using the TrueSign API and the envelope was downloaded from the Envelope Details page before any signers had completed the envelope, then TrueSign would not convert the document to Tiff. This has been resolved.

Corrected an issue where the Subject message text did not pre-populate when using templates

An issue has been resolved where the Subject text for custom signer messages did not properly default to a value when creating an envelope from a template.

Corrected a notification issue when the "Receives a Copy" role is used with templates

An issue has been resolved regarding email notifications not being sent to the first signer when that signer had the role of “Receives a Copy” and the envelope was created from a template.
